House extension in Rathfarnham

The extension we created for a family in Rathfarnham has given them a new grown-up space for relaxing as well a beautiful, open dining area and a bright and sleek new kitchen area. To keep all areas of the back of the house bright we encorporated a large rooflight to allow the light to flood in.

Home extension

An important feature of this two story extension was to retain the original Art Deco features throughout the house and to make sure that any fixtures and fittings also remained faithful to the period.

Adding a large rooflight in the ground floor means that the existing sitting area lost none of its light and just adds to the overall bright and airy feeling in the house.
